St Mary’s Wines
St Mary’s Wines and Spirits is owned and operated by the Mulligan Family, which is based 15 kms west of the Penola Township.
The first vintage for St Mary’s Wines was 1990 and we have been making Red Wine on the property ever since. In our lineup of wines we produce a Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Fortified Shiraz and a Rose.
We make our Red Wines in open ferments, Hand Plunging the Skins and then Basket Pressing the wine into barrels for aging.
When we feel the wine is ready, we bottle them on site and after a brief time for the wine to relax, we then offer them to the public so they can enjoy our creations.
Prices are per bottle in full carton orders (12 bottles) -including mixed dozens. Price includes GST and delivery in Australia.
Estate grown grapes sourced only from the Terra Rossa soils of St Mary’s Penola vineyard are used in the production of all St Mary’s wines.
Small batch ferments, open vats and traditional techniques are used to make our wines.
All wines are basket pressed, barrel matured and bottled at St Mary’s winery.
